Tactile camera for the visual impaired
2C3D is a tactile camera concept for people who are blind or visually impaired. Inspired by the Pin Toy, its 3D screen transforms images into tactile forms in real time. Users can feel what the camera sees, capture it, and revisit saved 3D photos and videos later, turning the camera into a physical-digital photo album.
As with any product, testing with real users is essential and helps refine the configuration. What feels intuitive in theory is not always intuitive in practice. My design process is always closely connected to, and guided by, the end user.
